The Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN) is set to host her 34th Annual International Conference at the Institutes for Agricultural Research, IAR, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. The conference with the theme, exploring biotechnology as a solution to health, economic and security challenges in a developing world, will be having series of experts from around the world as guest speakers, panel discussant and moderators. the various sub-themes that have been scheduled to be addressed include the following:
~ Omics technologies as drivers to solving health, and food security challenges;
~ Drug and vaccine development using biotechnology tools;
~ Waste to wealth paradigms in biotechnology;
~Forensic biotechnology as a key solution to security challenges;
~ Agricultural biotechnology: contributions, challenges, and way forward; and
~ Biotechnology start-ups as game changers in the industrialization of developing world.
With arrival of participants starting today, 13th March 2023 at the Balarabe Tanimu Conference Hall, Institute for Agricultural Research, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, the conference is scheduled to come to a close on Thursday, 16th March 2023.
