The African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) has applauded OFAB Nigeria and @NABDA for the role they played in promoting biotechnology adoption in Nigeria.
Speaking during a visit to the Management Team of NABDA, March 26 2018, the AATF
Communication and Partnerships Manager, Nancy Muchiri stated that it is a thing of joy to watch OFAB grow from one chapter (In Kenya) to 7 more chapters with Nigeria taking the lead in Biotechnology communication.
The AATF West African Regional Director, Dr. Issoufou Kollo in his remarks said Nigerian Scientists are ready to work and develop crops that will promote food security if given the opportunity. He thanked NABDA and OFAB and asked for continued partnership especially as plans to commercialize the Pod Borer Resistant Cowpea intensifies.
The acting DG/CEO, Mr. Oguntunde Abayomi welcomed the Team and promised his commitment towards promoting Biotechnology activities in Nigeria.
